This work evolved from a collaboration with the talented writer Amy Lay-Pettifer.

Amy wanted to write a piece of text around the strange dark bitter liquer Fernet Branca and she commissioned me to take photographs to illustrate the story.

The results were published at Bear-Sign. A copy can be found here

This spurred me on to make a small body of still life work.
